The versatility of the sliding loader and the innovative journey of the Case brand

01 Development and Application of Sliding Loaders

The sliding loader was originally designed for agriculture, but due to its flexibility and adaptability, it has been widely used in various fields such as construction and logistics. Nowadays, many widely used construction machinery were originally designed for the agricultural sector, including the sliding loader. This equipment initially played a role in the agricultural sector, but later was improved and applied in other industries. With the continuous increase in labor costs, more and more industries have begun to adopt machinery to replace manual labor for production operations. Compared to traditional large construction equipment, the sliding loader, with its small size, excellent flexibility, and strong adaptability, has achieved vigorous development in the new era.

The multi-functionality of the sliding loader is mainly reflected in its ability to operate independently without the need for cooperation with other specialized equipment, thereby reducing equipment idleness and improving investment return rates. It can be used in multiple fields. Nowadays, the application of sliding loaders is increasingly widespread, especially in environments with restricted working areas, complex ground conditions, and variable tasks. Its advantages are more obvious in such environments. It does not need to cooperate with other specialized equipment, thus significantly reducing the waste of fixed assets and lowering equipment idleness rates, and improving investment return rates. With its unique structure and diverse accessories, the sliding loader can perform well in multiple fields such as infrastructure construction, industrial production, port loading and unloading, urban streets, and airport runways, and can even be used as an auxiliary equipment for large-scale construction machinery.

02 Types and Selection of Sliding Loaders

【 Wheeled and Track-type Sliding Loaders 】

The walking mode of the sliding loader includes wheeled and track-type. KLIONCE offers S-series sliding loaders and T-series track-type sliding loaders to meet different needs. In terms of speed, the maximum speed of ordinary sliding loaders can reach 16-19 kilometers per hour, while that of track-type sliding loaders is 11-16 kilometers per hour. However, in actual working conditions, the importance of speed is often not prominent. For example, in tasks such as cleaning, snow removal, or material transportation, although speed has some influence, in most cases, the equipment does not require high-speed movement. Therefore, in terms of speed, there is no significant superiority or inferiority between the two types of sliding loaders. So, when choosing between wheeled or track-type sliding loaders, how should we make the decision? Besides considering their appearance and driving methods, the choice should be based on the working conditions. Track-type is suitable for off-road and complex terrain, while wheeled performs better on hard ground surfaces.

【 Selection under Different Ground Conditions 】

Track-type performs exceptionally well on soft ground, and the S-series sliding loader performs well on hard ground. Track-type sliding loaders are excellent in off-road and climbing capabilities, especially in wet mud or soft soil, where their ability to avoid sinking and slipping makes it easy to handle various complex terrains and has excellent passability. Wheeled sliding loaders are known for their excellent maneuverability and steering flexibility, but it should be noted that on wet mud or soft soil, it may face the risks of getting stuck and slipping. Therefore, when choosing, it should be based on the actual working environment. For example, wheeled sliding loaders perform better on hard ground surfaces; while for road operations or in hot environments, one can consider choosing models equipped with vacuum standard tires or solid tires.

When operating on soft ground such as mud, the track-type loader can provide excellent mud-ground operation performance. KLIONCET series loaders, with their bulldozer-style chassis and sturdy design, not only have excellent off-road performance but also maintain stability and traction under low ground pressure, making them ideal choices for residential construction and landscape gardening. On hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt, the S series sliding loader can meet 80% to 90% of the operational needs. Its excellent shock absorption performance and comfortable operation make it an ideal working partner for such surfaces.
